Transforming Lives

Written by Jan Baxter

Why do I do what I do? My goal is to awaken your health potential so that you can transform your life, that is: to thrive, and to help others to thrive. Over the past 20 years I have been able to do that in my life, and I want to help others to do that, also.

As a society, we are over-fed, and under-nourished, and disease is wide-spread, over all the ages. For the past 20 years, I have decided to take responsibility for my own health, in order to get well and stay well. I prefer the natural way- to eat clean, basically raw, basically vegetarian, to take my daily nutritional products and make lifestyle changes.

As a result, I have no aches, no pains, take no medications, and I am still above ground. According to Dr. Otto Warburg who won the Nobel Peace Prize in 1931 for his research that indicated that disease thrives in an acidic environment, I work at keeping my body alkaline for that very reason.

I avoid the (4) “whites”, namely:

  • white flour
  • white milk
  • white salt
  • white sugar

These products cause the body to become acidic, and disease (eg. cancer) thrives in an acidic environment.

As a result, I am a very, active, “Junior Senior”, and enjoy doing my morning yoga every day (including standing on my head for a minute!), brain gym, riding my bike 10k about 2-3 times a week, going to the gym, hiking, kayaking, swimming, and travelling.

I enjoy being a Grandmother of now 6 grandchildren, as they too keep me young.

If it wasn’t for my daily nutrition and lifestyle changes, I would definitely be “running-on-empty”!

I agree with Virgil that ‘‘The greatest wealth is health”, as without your health you can’t do anything.

I feel blessed.

I am grateful for my health.
