What inspired you to become an entrepreneur?
I have always wanted to create a lifestyle that is on my terms, that is aligned with who I really am, and to have no limits to the amount of income I make and how successful I can become – other than the limits I put on myself that is.

What is your “WHY” behind your business/being an entrepreneur?
I have always wanted to be an entrepreneur. I just knew deep-down that is what I’ve always been meant to do. My biggest “WHY” however, is that I am a mom to two young children and I want to be there for them physically, mentally, and emotionally; as an entrepreneur I can do that more easily. I also feel that being an entrepreneur gives me the chance to help more people and make an even bigger difference in this world.

What’s the best part about owning your own business?
Right now the best part is that I can work when my son naps! I get to pick when I work, how I work, and where I work. I also love showing my children that they don’t have to live in the norm, they can think outside the box. We do some major problem solving in our house.

What impact did other people/experiences have on you, and how did they help you get to where you are in your business today?
My husband has been by my side the whole time, cheering me on, supporting me in every possible way you can imagine. He has even started a podcast with me, as well as working a full-time job himself.

What values do you believe in and live by, and how do they shine through when it comes to your role as a business owner?
Honesty is a big one. I spent many years pretending to be someone else to fit in and be loved, which led me down a path to exhaustion and anger – I’m done with that! Which means I show up authentically for myself and everyone I come in contact with. Other values I believe in and live by are self-acceptance (self-love), courage, creativity, family, flexibility, fun, gratitude, intuition, life-long learning, love, mindfulness, motivation, optimism, simplicity, strength and support. All of which help me be the best coach I can be!

What are you most proud of when it comes to your business/being an entrepreneur?
Through all the challenges and struggles I’ve faced – I haven’t given up!

What does the future look like for you and your business?
I want to create a dream team of moms who can help support me in the areas I’m not so strong in, so I have more time available for clients and my family. Moms that had jobs or dreamed of working, but then had children and are now ready to do something for themselves and let their talents shine bright.

Any tips for women thinking of starting a business?
Starting a business is a journey. When you decide to start your business (which is the best thing ever!) – don’t give up! On the days you want to give up just take one tiny step in the direction you want to go. Soon you will be where you wanted to be, only to realize you now have somewhere else you want to get to, so enjoy the journey. The set-backs, the failures, the tears, the amazingness, the breakthroughs, the big wins and the little wins … take it all in and enjoy and grow from it. It’s the best thing I’ve done for myself, my family and my life!
